Recordle API
Recordle has an Application Programming Interface (API) for creating all sorts applications using Recordle. Examples of such applications can be seen on this site. They include:
- Account photo. You are prompted to take a photo of yourself when you register with Recordle. You can also update it in the account section.
- Audio/Video Contact section. To contact us, you have the option sending a boring old written message, or you can record an audio or video message! The audio/video file is then emailed to us as an attachment.
Custom Recorder
The Recordle "Recorder" is a Flash movie that can be embedded in web pages. With a few simple parameters in the Recorder can made to record either audio, video or take a photo. In setting up an account you provide us with a URL to HTTP post the file back to your server. You are then free to do whatever you want with it.
Audio is posted back as an MP3, video as an FLV (Flash Video), and photos as a JPEG.
Custom Player
For use when you have used the Custom Recorder to allow your users to record audio and/or video. Recordle can provide a Flash movie that is customized to the look and feel of your site.
